In Salt Lake City, Utah, Ryne Andrew Sanborn (pronounced Rine) was born on February 3, 1989, at 18. In his homeland, he represented the light at the Olympic Games in 2002. In High School Musical and High School Musical 2, he played Jason. He recently received his 2007 diploma from Taylorville High School, where he resides in Taylorsville, Utah.
He participates in hockey for both Taylorsville and the visiting Utah Stars squad. The Adventures of Food Boy, a 2008 early-release indie film starring Ryne, is now in post-production. In High School Musical 3, slated for release in 2008, it is speculated that Ryne will return to his role as Jason Cross.
