Robyn Doolittle is a Canadian reporter for the Globe and Mail and author of Crazy Town: The Rob Ford Story (2014) a biography of Toronto Mayor Rob Fords political and personal life.Doolittle's journalism career began when she was accepted into Ryerson University's journalism program in 2002 and from 2006 to 2007 she served as editor-in-chief of The Eyeopener one of Ryerson's two weekly student newspapers.While a university student Doolittle was hired as a summer intern at the Toronto Star.
After helping to cover the trial of Conrad Black in Chicago Doolittle was hired back as a full-year intern and then a staff reporter.Doolittle originally covered crime for the paper but in 2010 was assigned to cover Toronto City Council.
