Robert M. Kaplan Ph.D. is a Distinguished Professor of Medicine at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and a Distinguished Professor of the Health Services at UCLA. He is also the PI of the UCLA/RAND CDC Prevention Research Center and director of the UCLA/RAND health services training program.
He is also the Co-Chair of the California Health Benefits Review Program (CHBRP) and PI of the California Right Care Initiative. Kaplan is a past President of five academic societies. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of Health Psychology and is the former Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Behavioral Medicine.
