Richie Farina is a sous chef at Moto, a Chicago restaurant known for its innovative cuisine. He was born in Staten Island, NY, and grew up in a large Italian family in Florida, where food was always a central part of his life. Before attending Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, Farina started his culinary career by making pizzas.
While in school, he won the National Collegiate Ice Carving Championship three years in a row. After working in Boston for a few years, Farina moved to Chicago, where he strives to create new and unique dishes that offer more than just food but also an unforgettable experience.
