Richard Heinzl is a Canadian physician, humanitarian, entrepreneur, and author. After graduating from McMaster University medical school, he founded the first North American chapter of Doctors Without Borders in Canada. His early international experience, including an elective in Uganda, inspired him to bring the Nobel Peace Prize-winning organization to North America and to recruit thousands of medical professionals for humanitarian missions worldwide. He holds advanced degrees from Harvard (MPH) and Oxford, and has served as Global Medical Director for WorldCare Inc. Recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, he received Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health Alumni Award of Merit in 2016. Today, Heinzl focuses on preventive medicine, genomics, artificial intelligence, and healthcare innovation. He serves as CEO of My Next Health Inc. and has held leadership roles, including interim CEO at Asep Medical, advancing diagnostic technologies. He continues to speak on humanitarianism, medical technology, and global health.
