Rashad Robinson is the Executive Director of ColorOfChange, the biggest online civil rights group in the United States. ColorOfChange has been at the forefront of causes such as fighting for justice for Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, and Eric Garner, resisting attempts to restrict the Black vote, and terminating Pat Buchanan's career as an MSNBC commentator under Robinson's leadership.
ColorOfChange's nationwide campaign against the American Legislative Exchange Council was led by Robinson (ALEC). Over 90 corporate supporters cut ties with ALEC when ColorOfChange highlighted the organization's role in promoting discriminatory voter ID and dangerous Shoot First laws.
