Ramy Youssef is an Egyptian-American comedian, actor, writer, and director. Youssef graduated from Rutgers University in 2013, studying political science and economics. Youssef started his career in comedy in 2010 and became a regular performer at the Comedy Cellar in New York City.
He gained national attention after being featured on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Conan in 2017. In 2019, he created and starred in the Hulu series Ramy, which earned critical acclaim for portraying a Muslim-American millennial trying to find his place in the world.
