Raheem DeVaughn is an American singer and songwriter known for his soulful and romantic R&B music. Born on May 5, 1975, in Newark, New Jersey, DeVaughn grew up in Maryland and began singing and performing at a young age. His music is influenced by classic soul and R&B artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Donny Hathaway.
DeVaughn released his first album, "The Love Experience," in 2005, which included the hit singles "You" and "Guess Who Loves You More." He has since released several other successful albums, including "Love Behind the Melody," "The Love & War MasterPeace," and "A Place Called Loveland." DeVaughn has been nominated for several Grammy Awards and has won several awards for his music, including the BET J Virtual Award for Best Male R&B Artist.
