Rachel Morrison is an American cinematographer known for her groundbreaking work in film and television. She is best known for her work on the film "Mudbound," which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Cinematography, making her the first woman ever to receive the nomination.
In addition to her work on "Mudbound," Morrison has worked on several critically acclaimed films, including "Fruitvale Station," "Dope," and "Black Panther." She has also worked on several episodes of the hit Netflix series "Stranger Things." Morrison graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and started working on several films and television shows in the camera department.
