Pinklon Thomas is a retired professional boxer. He started boxing when he was ten and turned pro at 20. Thomas became the WBC Heavyweight Champion in 1984 after defeating Tim Witherspoon in a 12-round split decision. He held the title until 1986, successfully defending it against fighters like Mike Weaver and Trevor Berbick.
Thomas finished his boxing career with 43 wins (34 by knockout), seven losses, and one draw. In addition to his impressive record, he was known for his quick footwork and powerful left jab. After retiring from boxing in 1993, Thomas became a counselor and motivational speaker, working to help others overcome addiction and adversity.
