Pete first became interested in treehouses when he was five years old when his father constructed a tree fort outside their New Jersey home's garage. As he grew older, the carpenter and homebuilder inside him could not be suppressed, and he set out on an unusual professional path with the goal of becoming the treehouse person.
His current project is hosting the successful television series Treehouse Masters on Animal Planet, in addition to owning TreeHouse Point & Nelson Treehouse and Supply and publishing six books. He and his wife, Judy, live in Fall City, WA, with their three adult children, with whom he gladly works in the woods every day.
