NEEDTOBREATHE is a Christian rock band from South Carolina. The band have released six studio albums Daylight Heat, The Outsiders, The Reckoning Rivers in the Wasteland, and Hard Love. While the band is often categorized as Christian, they have rejected that label because they find it limiting.
The band does release Christian songs although not all of their music has religious themes. They have won awards including GMA Dove Group of the Year and GMA Dove Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year. In 2015 their song Multiplied was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.
