Nader Mousavizadeh is a geopolitical strategist, author, and advisor. He is the founder and CEO of Macro Advisory Partners, a firm that counsels global leaders on the intersection of geopolitics, policy, and markets. Born to an Iranian father and Danish mother, he grew up in Denmark. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, earned an M.Phil. as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, and received an MBA from MIT as a Sloan Fellow. Mousavizadeh’s career spans the UN as a political officer in Bosnia and as a special assistant to Secretary-General Kofi Annan (1997–2003), investment banking at Goldman Sachs, and a CEO role at Oxford Analytica. He co-authored Annan’s memoir “Interventions: A Life in War and Peace” (2012) and edited “The Black Book of Bosnia” (1996). A frequent contributor to Financial Times, New York Times, and Foreign Policy, he serves on the World Resources Institute’s Global Board.
