Mosab Abu Toha is a Palestinian poet, essayist, and scholar. He founded the Edward Said Library, Gaza’s first English-language library, in 2017. His debut poetry collection, “Things You May Find Hidden in My Ear” (2022), won the Palestine Book Award and an American Book Award and was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award.
His second collection, “Forest of Noise” (2024), documents life under Israeli occupation, having been born in a Gaza refugee camp. Abu Toha graduated with a degree in English from the Islamic University of Gaza and earned an MFA from Syracuse University in 2023. He taught English at UNRWA schools (2016–2019) and was a Harvard Scholar-at-Risk Fellow (2019–2020).
