In March 2012, Mike Rencheck was named president and chief executive officer of AREVA Inc. North America. Mike was named Chief Operating Officer of AREVA Inc. in January 2010 as part of the company's new global structure. Mike joined AREVA as President and CEO of AREVA NP Inc. in January 2009. He guided AREVA NP Inc.
through a successful turnaround, increasing performance, achieving profitability, and creating long-term development. With annual revenues of more than $1.3 billion, AREVA NP Inc. was the company's largest North American business segment. Mike was the Senior Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer of American Electric Power's Nuclear Generation Group prior to joining AREVA.
