Melissa Daimler is the Global Head of Organizational Effectiveness and Learning at Twitter. She feels that the job she does on a daily basis may help her become a better leader and a happy person. She's creating new learning models based on the Twitter platform's design principles. She is a member of Twitter's "SWAT"—Super Women at Twitter—core team, which is dedicated to creating and promoting exceptional women. Melissa was the head of Adobe Systems' Global Learning and Organizational Consulting unit before joining Twitter. Prior to Adobe, she was the HR director of a venture-backed firm that was eventually bought by Accenture. She was one of the first qualified coaches under the International Coach Federation and helped to create Coach University. She teaches in the Berkeley/Columbia MBA program as a professor. Melissa earned her M.S. in Organizational Development from Pepperdine University. She is now interested in the confluence of organizational and personal development and is reading and writing about it. Melissa lives in San Francisco with her husband and spends her weekends learning to sail in San Francisco Bay.
