Mehmood Khan M.D. leads PepsiCo's efforts to create new products and categories that accelerate growth of the Company's diversified portfolio of food and beverage brands. He was appointed Chief Scientific Officer in 2008 and Chief Executive Officer Global Nutrition Group in 2010. As Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Khan leads Company-wide research and development and has overseen PepsiCo's expanded investment in R&D by recruiting highly regarded clinical scientists global health leaders and medical experts. Under his leadership the Company has launched research projects with leading universities around the world and opened new advanced R&D facilities.
