Maya-Camille Broussard is a Chicago-based chef, author, and social entrepreneur best known as the founder of Justice of the Pies, a bakery and social mission-driven business honoring her late father, who was a criminal defense attorney who loved baking. A self-taught pastry chef and member of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, Broussard launched the business in 2014 after personal losses, including her father’s death and the flooding of her first venture.
