Matthew J. Matt Lohr is an American politician who was born on August 28, 1971, in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates as a Republican in November 2005. He was elected to represent Harrisonburg and the northern part of Rockingham County.
He was re-elected in 2007 and 2009 with 71 percent and 73 percent of the vote, respectively. Lohr resigned from the Virginia House of Delegates on March 16, 2010, to accept Governor Bob McDonnell's appointment as Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
