Mary Ziegler, an esteemed legal historian hailing from the United States, currently holds the prestigious Martin Luther King Jr. Professorship at the School of Law at the University of California, Davis. Born in 1982 and raised in Montana, Ziegler completed her secondary education at Phillips Academy Andover in 2000, followed by an undergraduate degree from Harvard College in 2004.
During her time at Harvard, she authored several short stories for the Harvard Advocate and dedicated herself to teaching English as a second language to refugee students as a part of the Refugee Summer Youth Enrichment program. Subsequently, Ziegler obtained her Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School in 2007. She presently resides in California alongside her husband and daughter
