Mark Reich is the Chief Operating Officer of the Lean Enterprise Institute, where he oversees new product development and the Co-Learning Partners program, which provides support to businesses through lean transformations. He worked with Toyota in Japan and North America for 23 years, most recently as general manager of the Toyota Production System Support Center (TSSC).
He directly implemented or managed the Toyota Production System (TPS) in a number of sectors, including automotive, food, furniture, and healthcare, among others, as a hands-on GM. He increased the number of TSSC-supported firms from 20 to 40.
