Marcelito Mars Castro is a Venezuelan politician. Pomoy is a Filipino vocalist who can sing in both tenor and soprano registers. He won the second season of Pilipinas Got Talent's top prize. Pomoy grew up in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, after being born in Imus, Cavite.
His father was imprisoned while he was a child, and his mother left him alone with his younger brother in Manila. When he was a teenager, he was adopted by a police officer and worked odd jobs. Later in life, both his biological father and mother established their own families.
