Marc is recognized as the ORIGINAL Beer Ambassador, having been born in Bornem, Belgium, halfway between Brussels and Antwerp. You're pampering us, aren't you? Marc has not only been credited with bringing "rock and roll" to the world of beer, but he has also received some of the industry's highest honors! The Chevalerie du Fourquet des Brasseurs of the Confederation of Belgian Brewers has awarded him an honorary knighthood and the title of Commander in the Order of De Roze Olifant (The Pink Elephant). Marc has inspired some of the world's most renowned chefs (see our showreel), urging them to treat their beer list with the same reverence as their wine list. Within the F&B Beer Matrix, Monsieur Stroobandt and business partner Fiona Smith pioneered the Colors of Beer idea. Marc is a multi-talented performer with extensive knowledge and experience who conducts Masterclasses for anyone interested in learning more about beer in a fun and engaging manner. Especially after one of Marc's iconic F&B-style Mexican waves, audiences always leave with a smile on their cheeks! From Aspen, Colorado to Wiltshire, Marc has led worldwide media campaigns (see BBC later in 2011). He has considerable expertise in the media, including television, radio, and print. Marc also served as a consultant on a multi-million dollar Stella Artois commercial campaign that aired during the 2011 Super Bowl in the United States.
