Lawrence H. Summers is the Charles W. Eliot University Professor and president emeritus at Harvard University.
He is also the Weil Director of the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at Harvard’s Kennedy School.Summers was National Economic Council director for President Obama from 2009 to 2011, US Treasury secretary from 1999 to 2001, and vice president of development economics and chief economist of the World Bank, among other senior policy positions.
