Born in China to Russian Jewish parents, Laurence H. Tribe, since 1968 has taught at Harvard’s Law School as a Professor of Constitutional Law at Harvard and the graduating class of 2000 voted him the best professor.

In 1958, at age 16, Tribe enrolled at Harvard University and graduated magna cum laude in Law (1966) and summa cum laude in Mathematics (1962).
