She is a TV personality, philanthropist, attorney, mother, family health and fitness activist, as well as a certified life coach, motivational speaker and author. On the TV show Nuestra Belleza latina on Univision, Laura worked with the contestants using her life coaching expertise and she was also the host and producer of the TV show Manual de Supervivencia con Laura Posada (Survival Guide with Laura Posada), which aired on FoxLife and Utilisima. She has made many Television appearances as a regular contributor on The Today Show, an NBC national morning program where she shares her life coaching tips. She’s also a regular face on Univision’s Despierta América among others. Laura is also a contributor for Ser Padres Magazine and Inspirulina, Siempre Mujer Magazine. Laura am accomplished author with two award-winning books The Beauty of Love and Fit Home Team written by her. She also published her third book La Dieta Mental: Tu Clave Para Ser Feliz (The Mental Diet: Your Key to Happiness). In 2009, her first book won three Atria Book Awards and in the categories for Best Book, Best Parenting and Family Book and Best Health Book in the Mariposa Awards, she was the second place winner. Laura gave birth to a son at the end of the 90s diagnosed with Craniosynostosis. This inspired her to establish The Jorge Posada Foundation in a bid to raise awareness and assist others going through the same situation. In 2012, The Jorge Posada Foundation joined the MyFace Foundation where for the last 15 years, Laura has been a Board Member. On April 2010, Laura’s good works and activism was recognized during a White House speech by President Obama. Laura has also been featured in numerous social media outlets as well as Spanish and English publications. With appearances on several radio and TV shows such as The Wendy Williams Show, ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Doctors, HBO’s Bryant Gumbel’s Real Stories, Discovery Channel’s American Chopper and E! True Hollywood Stories’ Baseball Wives, etc. Laura has toured Latina America and the United States as a motivational and guest speaker in Peru, Panama, Colombia, San Juan, Las Vegas, New York, Miami, Washington, Guatemala and Dominican Republic.
