Larry Rosenstock Biography

Larry Rosenstock is the originator and CEO of High Tech High a system of open contract schools concentrated on venture based learning. Larry showed carpentry in urban secondary schools for a long time before filling in as a staff lawyer at the Harvard Center for Law and Education. Coming back to state funded schools he filled in as Director of the Rindge School of Technical Arts and afterward Principal of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. Mr. Rosenstock coordinated the New Urban High School Project of the U.S. Division of Education. He has filled in as a teacher at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Visiting Associate Professor at UC Berkeley School of Education. Larry is the beneficiary of the Ashoka Fellowship and the McGraw Prize in Education and fills in as a counsel to various commissions and sheets broadly and globally. He holds a JD from Boston University Law School a M.Ed from Cambridge College a BA from Brandeis University and a Doctor of Letters Honoris Causa from Cambridge College. Innovative High Learning presently involves twelve K-12 schools an educator credentialing program and a master's level college of training.
