He has established himself as an adaptive sports leader through his work in paratriathlon despite facing the obstacle of blindness.
Kyle Coon received his degree in Communication from the University of Central Florida in 2013 before he started participating in endurance sports. The year 2018 marked a historic moment for Kyle when he became the first blind athlete to finish an IRONMAN-branded triathlon under the 11-hour mark. In 2018 he joined the first all-blind tandem cycling team which finished the Race Across America by covering 3,000 miles in seven days.
