Kuniko is experiencing the American Dream and she came to food in an indirect manner. Miserable working in money in her local Japan Kuniko got and moved to Los Angeles finding a new line of work as a worker at a noodle house in Los Angeles.
Here she met Chef David Myers of the Michelin featured Sona who moved by Kuniko's energy and enthusiasm proposed she test her culinary goals in his kitchen. In addition to the fact that she rose to the test - an un-prepared cook in one of the city's most renowned kitchens - she bloomed.
