Kristina Anderson, a student at Virginia Tech, was one of the injured victims of the April 16, 2007 shooting disaster. Kristina formed Students for Non-Violence (SNV), a student-led component of Virginia Tech's Center for Peace Studies and Violence Prevention, to honor her friends' memories and ignite a good influence on campus.
Kristina learned how to mobilize student campaigns and motivate action toward violence prevention on her campus while building SNV's foundation and first fundraising.
