Kevin Anderson is a tennis player from South Africa. After reaching the final of the 2008 Tennis Channel Open in Las Vegas, he became the top-ranked South African player. In August 2013, he reached a career-high rating of World No. 19 for the first time.
In 2011, he won the South African Open in Johannesburg, defeating Somdev Devvarman 4–6, 6–3, 6–2. It was his first ATP-level event victory. Anderson has competed for South Africa in both Davis Cup and the Beijing Olympics in 2008. He overcame Fernando Verdasco in the third round of 2013 Australian Open but fell to Tomá Berdych in the fourth stage.
