Kelly Richmond Pope is an American forensic accountant, educator, filmmaker, and author specializing in white-collar crime and ethics. As the Dr. Barry Jay Epstein Endowed Professor at DePaul University's School of Accountancy, she teaches forensic accounting, with research on whistleblowing and behavioral accounting cited over 619 times. A CPA with a B.S. from North Carolina A&T and M.S./Ph.D.
from Virginia Tech, she previously worked at KPMG. Pope directed "All the Queen's Horses" (2017), a documentary on the most significant U.S. municipal fraud, winning the HBO Spotlight Award, and produced "Crossing the Line" (2010). Her 2018 TED Talk, "How Whistleblowers Shape History," has over 1.6 million views.
