Jerry Jones recruited her as an assistant director to the cheerleaders from 1989 to 1990 when she retired from the team in 1989. Kelli moved on to the Dallas Cowboys' sales and promotions department, where she was elevated to director of cheerleading in 1991.

For the first time in the company's twenty-year existence, she stepped into the position of business manager and entrepreneur, expertly branding America's Sweethearts and converting the department into a profitable profit center. Her keen eye for detail, creative insight, and marketing acumen soon yielded impressive results.

Developing creative merchandising tactics and launching corporate sponsorships are just a few of the accomplishments she has added to her résumé throughout her amazing tenure with America's Sweethearts. Finglass embodies the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders' high standards and is an excellent role model who displays passion, dedication, and excitement for the squad and women of all ages across the United States.

Her high standards and dedication to each cheerleader are reflected in their behavior on and off the field. Her own busy schedule necessitates a personal dedication to excellence, which has resulted in outstanding outcomes for both herself and the company.

Since 1991, Kelli has served as the cheerleaders' protector, helping to create an institution that is frequently copied but never surpassed. She created the first swimsuit calendar video in 1993, which was broadcast nationwide on television and on home video.

DCC Dance & Drill Team Competitions, Camp DCC, Cheers for Years, and Cheers for Fitness are among the activities she has developed and polished for the organization. Her guidance and leadership of the DCC show group have resulted in a highly regarded and sought-after entertainment group with corporate clients such as Sports Illustrated, JCPenney, and American Airlines.

She has worked as an executive producer for CMT's popular series Making The Team, which has recorded each cheerleader's grueling metamorphosis throughout their 12-week training camp, for the past two years, in addition to her considerable responsibilities as the DCC director.
