Katrina Brownlee is a retired NYPD detective, survivor advocate, keynote speaker, author, life coach, and mentor. Growing up in Brooklyn, she became a mother at 14 and faced severe domestic violence.
At 22, while five months pregnant, her abusive fiancé shot her 10 times after she tried to leave, leaving her in a coma, told she'd never walk again, and causing the loss of her unborn child.
