Jonah Hill had been inspired while watching Saturday Night Live The Simpsons and Larry Sanders and hoped to become a comedy writer one day. While in New York he frequented a bar called Black and White where he did much of his writing.
One day he met Dustin Hoffman's children Jake and Becky who were impressed by Hill's talent for comedy. They introduced him to their father who arranged an audition for the motion picture I Heart Huckabees. The bit was memorable and Hill graduated to larger roles in films such as Click (2006) starring Adam Sandler and Accepted (2006) starring Justin Long.
