Johnny Herbert is famous and acknowledged in the history of Motorsport as one of the greatest all-round racing drivers. He’s also part of a distinguished group of British drivers to have relished a successful career in Formula 1. In 1974 at the age of 10, Johnny started his racing career by racing karts and his talent was noted.
He was the British Junior Karting Champion in 1978. He moved into Formula 3 racing after advancing through the ranks. Johnny’s skills and speed started to attract attention following a successful debut and this led to Eddie Jordan taking him up for the 1987 season.
