Joe co-founded Suneris and invented the company’s polymer platform technology. As CEO, he leads innovation initiatives and provides strategic oversight to Suneris.
Joe has research experience in biocompatible polymers and was selected as a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar in 2013 in recognition of his outstanding potential in scientific research. He was named a 2014 TED Global Fellow and is an active Innovation Consultant at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. Joe holds an MS in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomaterials, and a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.
