Jodi Benson is an on-screen character voice entertainer and soprano artist. She is most popular for giving both the talking and the performing voice of Disney's Princess Ariel in The Little Mermaid and its spin-offs.
Benson voiced the character Barbie in the 1999 film Toy Story 2 the 2010 Academy Award-winning film Toy Story 3 and the Toy Story toon Hawaiian Vacation. For her commitments to the Disney organization, Benson was named a Disney Legend in 2011. She additionally offered voice to the energetic Weebo in Disney's real to life Flubber featuring Robin Williams.
