Jennifer Keesmat is a Canadian urban planner who served as the city of Toronto's Chief City Planner from 2012 to 2017. She announced her resignation as Chief Planner on August 28, 2017, with effect from September 29 of that year, and took a teaching job at the University of Toronto shortly after.
Keesmaat was named CEO of the Creative Housing Society in March 2018, an independent non-profit committed to the development of affordable housing developments. In 2014, Toronto Life ranked her the ninth most influential person in the city, while Maclean's named her the 41st most influential person in Canada.
