Jeff Moss has been a hacker for more than two decades. Jeff created DEF CON, the world's largest hacker community and event, in 1992. Five years later, he founded Black Hat, a series of technical conferences showcasing the most recent security research.
Jeff was named to the DHS Homeland Security Advisory Council in 2009, a group of subject matter experts that advise the DHS Secretary. Jeff was appointed Vice President and Chief Security Officer of the Internet Corporation for Assigning Names and Numbers in 2011.
