Jeanne Meserve has established a standard for homeland security reporting. She was the only reporter in the country who covered the September 11th attacks from their inception until their tenth anniversary. Her responsibilities have included intelligence, law enforcement, cyber security, aviation, border and port security.
She has flown with a military air patrol, reported from atop a crane in Los Angeles' port, and seen undercover red teams test airport security checks. Meserve is a senior fellow at the George Washington University Homeland Security Policy Institute as well as a member of the Aspen Institute's Homeland Security Advisory Group.
