Jack Jackson was born in Sullivan Indiana and grew up on a small farm near Crown Point. He earned a B.S. degree at Purdue University in 1966 where he played baseball and was president of his dorm.
Jack Jackson later went on to earn a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management at Pepperdine University.After graduation from Purdue University in 1966 Jack Jackson worked for a brief period for General Motors. However in January 1967 Jack Jackson felt the call of his country and joined the United States Marine Corps where he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant.
