Astrophysicist, professor, and inventor Dr. Hakeem M. Oluseyi Applied Materials, Inc. and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory were the sites of his postdoctoral research. He was an associated Astrophysicist at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center while working as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Dr.
Oluseyi's research has centered on the development of space-based astronomical observation instrumentation, such as optics, detectors, and electronics, as well as the analysis of terrestrial and astronomical plasmas, such as semiconductor manufacturing plasmas, solar/stellar atmospheres, and supernovae. He has over 50 scientific papers to his credit, possesses eight patents, and has won several scholarships, accolades, and prizes.
