Frank Newport Ph.D. is Editor in Chief at Gallup. He is coauthor of Winning the White House 2008: The Gallup Poll Public Opinion and the Presidency and author of Polling Matters: Why Leaders Must Listen to the Wisdom of the People.He is coauthor with Stuart Rothenberg of The Evangelical Voter and coeditor of The Gallup Poll: Public Opinion 2004-2009.
His articles and op-ed pieces have appeared in the American Sociological Review Public Opinion Quarterly The New York Times the Los Angeles Times and many other publications. Dr. Newport is 2010-2011 president of the American Association for Public Opinion Research.
