Fran Harris is a former professional and college basketball player who has won titles in high school, college, and the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Harris played basketball at The University of Texas, where she captained the team that won the national title in 1986 and led the team to the NCAA's first ever unbeaten season, winning 34-0.
Harris was a member of the 1985 USA National Jones Cup Team, the 1986 World Championship Team that won Gold, the 1987 USA Women's Pan American Team that won a gold medal in Indianapolis, Indiana, and an Olympic Team Alternate in 1988. Harris went on to play professional basketball in Italy and Switzerland after graduating from college.
