Eugene Soltes is a Harvard Business School assistant professor of business administration. Professor Soltes has taught in the Executive Education (Driving Corporate Performance) and MBA (Financial Reporting and Control) programs. Professor Soltes will begin teaching in the Executive Education course Program for Leadership Development in the fall of 2012. Professor Soltes' study is mostly concerned with investor communications. He looks at how executives can successfully communicate news and information to investors. Professor Soltes looked at how companies get press coverage in a recent study. He's also looked at the influence of private investor meetings and the implications of increased business news distribution. This work has been published in a number of industry publications, including IR Magazine and IR Update, the National Investor Relations Institute's monthly newsletter. Professor Soltes graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a Ph.D. and an MBA. Prior to his graduate studies, he graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in statistics.
