Erin was born and raised in California. At age 5 on the advise of a family friend she met with a children's talent agency and was immediately signed. Shortly therafter she was cast in what would be the first of over forty television commercials for such leading brand names as CRESTKELLOGGS CORN FLAKESand THREE MUSKETEERS.

By the age of 6 Erin made her feature film debut in HOW SWEET IT ISstarring James Garnet and Debbie Reynolds. That was followed by her first television series DAKTARI in which she costarred as Jenny the resident orphan.
