Eric is a creator, digital fabricator, and excellent communicator in the field of technology. Eric began his career as an architect, creating millwork, furniture, and cabinets. He established SketchThis.net with the objective of making it easier for designers to use technology in their companies after many years of working with wood shops and cabinetry showrooms.
He has collaborated on the creation of SketchUp with Google and Trimble and has taught SketchUp and digital fabrication to thousands of students around the country. Eric is also quite interested in digital fabrication and “making.” He employs 3D printing and CNC manufacturing in his work and teaches others how to do so.
