Eric Liu is an American lawyer, author, and civic leader passionate about democracy and citizenship. Liu served as a speechwriter and Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy in the Clinton White House (1999–2000).
In 2014, he co-founded Citizen University in Seattle, where he is CEO, promoting “powerful citizenship” through initiatives like Civic Saturdays, encouraging community gatherings, and fostering civic dialogue.
