Bellinger began co-writing for pop performers such as Selena Gomez and the Scene, Jacob Latimore, and Big Time Rush before contributing to the song "Death Penalty" on The Game's mixtape, California Republic, in 2012. Usher's Lemme See, Chris Brown's New Flame, Tank's You Don't Know, Justin Bieber's Right Here, and Trey Songz's Disrespectful are among the songs on the list. Bellinger won a Grammy in the Best R&B Album category in 2011 for his contribution to Chris Brown's album F.A.M.E.
